Paul Colman announced he would be leaving The Newsboys to return to Solo Projects. At the same time Jody Davis would return to the band.

In 2009 it was announced that Peter Furler would leave the Newsboys and be replaced with Michael Tait of dc Talk. Tait performed his first full concert in Highlands Ranch, Colerado.
