This revolution was organised by anarchists and socalists to fight against the changes which were made by the new goverment. They were very important in Catalonia and Asturias, with the uprising of the miners. Lastly, they sent the Army there and miners suffered a big repression.

New elections were called, the left-wing people and parties decided to work together as the Frente Popular and the right-wing as the Frente Nacionalista. The Frente Popular won and they released all left-wing political prisoners and outlawed the fascist party Falange Española. -
During this period, the probles increased. The Army plot against the government and politicians were killed.
