Gandhi stays on South Africa, and founds the Natal Indian Congress. This was in 1894 in spring.

The Boer Republic Transvaal, was now under the control of the British, it attempts to register all Indians as members; Gandhi refuses to register. Their resistance efforts shows that Indians were not going to use violence.
