Leonard F. Matlovich was dishonorable discharged and planned to fight the military's ban on homosexuals. In this story it is reported that he will begin accepting speaking invitations from around the contry, some of which will pay from $300 to $500 plus expenses for each appearance (from where did they get these figures, and way to undermine his 'cause') "I am going to take the mesage wherever I can that gays must be free," he said.
-
This story appears direclty below the Matlovich story, reports that this is the second arrest at the county clerks office, that they are hunger striking, They were also arrested for "missing a scheduled court appearance Tuesday morning on the first trespassing charge" on Monday. This report is on an arrest "late Wednesday."
