Government was Founded
Natives were found by citizens from other countries who were traveling the world, looking for other cultures. Natives taught the visitors about their culture and in return learned about their government/new ideas from them. -

Government's Battle for the Water
Government got into a battle with near-by countries over a water source. While resources where scarce at the time, both countries felt they needed the entire river and were not willing to share. Unfortunately, government lost the battle. Poorer citizens would parish from malnutrution. -
War on Slavery
Most citizens wanted slavery to be abolished, however farmers and factory owners wanted to keep them for cheaper labor. Most citizens however saw how terrible and inhumane the treatment was. There were many protests and boycotts before the companies/people would consider this as a legitiment protest. -
Civil Rights/Liberties were created
Citizens right to free speech is protected, Rights to freedom of economy/property, Citizens have the right to physical protection, Protection from unnecessary searches & seizures, Excessive bail, punishment and fines are forbidden, Rights to the accused;
Everyone is equal before the law, Freedom of religion, Freedom to form unions/strike/petition, Voting rights for all citizens regardless of race, sex, sexuality, etc. -
War on Slavery Ends
With the cration of the civil liberties, slavery was put to an end. Citizens rejoiced! -
Citizens protest working conditions
Citizens have been subected to poor working conditions since cities have become more popular/common. Factories are dangerous and many workers are underpaid or become injured. When they are injured, then it becomes a struggle to find a place to work with even worse wages. The government reacted by creating workplace standards for citizens.
