After arriving in modern day Washington, they settled a town called Tacoma. Little did they know they weren't the only people living there. -
The Unexpected War
The African Americans that were trying to escape slavery on the East side of America had no intentions of being friendly to the new comers from South America. A war happened in order to defend the African Americans lives and the South American people had no protection and no weapons. -
Fleeing
The South American people came up with a name to call themselves while fleeing from the war; The Hustlers. The Hustlers fled to modern day California, Colorado, and Arizona to escape the war. -
The End of The Unexpected War
The leader of the African American people and the leader of the Hustlers, Peter Nightburg, met up and called a truce. -
Joint Settlement of 1650
After the truce was signed by both people, they decided to come together to help each other. The African Americans would provide protection, weapons, and all other resources they had would become available to the Hustlers. The Hustlers would provide protection from slavery, food, shelter, and all other resources became available to the African American people. -
Another Unexpected War
After living free of fighting and war for many years, another war was beginning, but this time between the African American people and the white people from the East. Because we agreed to help each other, the Hustlers were brought into the war. However, they were prepared. -
A Victory!
After 12 years of non-stop fighting, the African Americans and the Hustlers took home a victory, causing the East 14,000 casualties and only 2,000 casualties on our side. -
Peter Nightburg's Death
Peter Nightburg died of a nasty disease that spread across the West side of America, called the Devil's Illness. Over 1,000 people were severely sick and 3,000 people had passed from it. After his death, the people began to worry. -
Years of Downfall
After their leader's death, the worst downfall in history happened. There was so much corruption, crime, and low economy that people were actually disobeying their truce. Until someone decided to take charge... -
The Law and Order Speech
A man from the African American group and another man from the Hustlers took a stand and made a speech. The called it Law and Order Speech. Omalu Buck and Fredrick Houston made a speech and helped everyone realize they can create a well organized government. But what is a government? -
What is a government?
This was a foreign word at the time, but this is where my government came to be. These men wanted the people's opinion on how their nation was run. They would have one leader, with many other people below him to help lead, and these leaders would all be elected. -
Our First Election
Because we wanted no conflict, everybody was given equal rights. Everybody could vote, everybody could work, etc. The first election occurred and their first president was Peter Nightburg's son, Christopher Nightburg, with many other people helping him lead the people of the nation. -
The First Constitution
As they advanced in their government, they created a bill that had all of the people's rights on it and also the laws. For example, slavery was never tolerated, discrimination was never tolerated, and theft was never acceptable. -
Modern Day
Today, their nation has flourished. They have had many elections, very few conflicts, and everyone is very happy.
