The band is ready to head off with a bunch of Hot Summer Tour dates dedicated to their home country; Aotearoa. Extra dates have been scheduled due to overwhelming demand of tickets and performances.

The band's surprise gig which was tightly packed had a woman collapse on a balcony. And was the most injured out of the four woman's rugby team players in Otago.

Overall really positive responses about the performances and people asked for an encore. As SIX60 does, "That’s what’s essential: Six60’s music has the unequivocal inability to deny anyone." No matter what the age, everybody had a good time.

Despite COVID-19 and all the lockdowns, the upcoming success and attitude of SIX60 towards their music and audiences has left a "remarkable impression" and how they embrace te reo, not forgetting where their roots originated from.

SIX60 returns for their second gig at Eden Park; they were the first ever band to headline the stadium at their record after April 2021 where they completely sold out their show.

As a heartfelt gesture, Aaron Smith received the guitar after "The Weekends" won. The guitar which was gifted was significant as it was always in the living room where one of the first songs were written from the SIX60 members themselves. It was always in the living room and held a special place in all their hearts, but wanted to hand it over to Smith being an old instrumentalist himself but also as a "service to rugby."

(The day I finished off this timeline ironically) Eli Paewai(drummer) has announced that he will be retiring as band’s drummer. Announced his final show on February 24th in Electric Avenue, Christchurch. He will remain one of the original founders of SIX60 and proceed with mentoring the next possible generation of performers.
