Muhammad is born in Mecca and is the only son of Abd Allah bin Al-Muttalib (who died before Muhammad's birth) and Amina bint Wahb

On the return from a trip to Yathrib with Muhammad to visit his father's grave, Amina became greatly ill and passed away. Muhammad was then entrusted to his grandfather Abdul Muttalib

Abdul Muttalib passed away, and Muhammad was left in the care of his paternal uncle Abu Talib.

Muhammad became known as a depandble worker and a person that you can trust. During this time he assisted in disputes and feuds within his community, and essentially arbitrated for them. He also acted as a shepherd as a means to help pay for his stay with his uncle, and traveled with his uncle (who was a merchant) whenever possible.

Muhammad recieves the first revelation from Allah, given through the angel Gabriel (Jibril) on Mt. Hira. Muhammad believes that this was the work of a demon when it first occured, but eventually realized that this wasn't the case.

After multiple more "revelations" occur, Muhammad begins to preach the messages and visions he has been recieving to the public of Mecca. This was met with severe backlash, and Muhammad and those that followed him were essentially shunned from Mecca. They were refused trade, were belittled, and even physically attacked.

After recieving news that he has a great number of supporters in Yathrib where his father is buried, Muhammad travels there along with his followers. The town then became know as Medina, or "The town of the Prophet". Here, he helped to alleviate a long standing civil war and gained many followers. This also marked the change in Muhammad from a preacher, to a political and military leader.

During this time period, Muhammad lead and ordered many raids in the conquest for Islamd. Most notably the Nakhla raid, Battle of Bady, Exile of the Qaynuqa (Jewish Tribe) in 624, the Battle of Uhud and exile of Nadir in 625, and the Conquest of Khaybar in 628. Muhammad is poisened in Khaybar and falls ill, but eventually recovers. He has the woman who poisened him executed

Muhammad, in the wake of his various conquests, returns to Mecca. Upon his return, his entrance is met with no resistance due to Meccan's realization of the turn of events. They join Muhammad at this point. Muhammad then forcibly turns the temple here into a mosque, solidifying Islam here.

During this period, Muhammad conqures the remaining non-muslim Arabic tribes, and forces them to accept Islam.

Muhammad continued to issue orders to his standing army on the conquest of the remaing Arabics and Christians until he died in Medina on June 8th. His rule and religion continued to spread long after his death

Muhammad's beloved wife passed away in 619. Shortly after, his uncle died as well. This greatly affected Muhammad, for obvious reasons

Muhammad began travelling with Khadijah, a well-off female merchant in Mecca who also happended to be his widowed distant cousin. They married in 595, and had 6 children together (2 sons who died in infancy and 4 daughters). They had a strong marriage and Muhammad was greatly infatuated by Khadijah.
