Muhammad's Birth
Muhammad was born in Mecca in 570 AD. He was the first and only son of Abdullah and Amina. His father had passed away before his birth, leaving only his mother to raise him. -

Muhammad Becomes an Orphan
When Muhammad around 6 years old, his mother took him to Yathrib, to go and visit his father's grave. On their trip home, Muhammads mother became ill and died, leaving him an orphan. His nurse took him back to Mecca and placed him with his paternal grandfather, Abdul Al-Muttalib. -

Revelation
Muhammad had his first revelation on Mount Hira at the age of 40. He receives a vision of Allah from the angel Gabriel. In the vision he believes he is a demon and tries to commit suicide, but the angles stop him. -
