Muhammad was believed to have been born in the year 570AD in the city of Mecca.

In the year 610 Muhammad recieved his first revelation from the archangel Gabriel.

In 613 AD Muhammad began to publicly preaching about his revelations. He claimed all must surrender to the one God and claimed he was a prophet from God.

In 622 AD Muhammad and his followers migrated from Mecca to Medina. This event is called Hirja and marks the beginning of the Islamic Calendar

In 630AD an army of Muslim warriors peacefully took control of Mecca. Following the conquest Muhammad and the army destroyed all the idols of the city as the were not the one true God.

In the end of 630 AD Muhammad moved to conquer other Arabian tribes that were organizing against him. He defeated the all and ordered the destruction of the rest of the pagan idols in Arabia.

Muhammad made his final pilgramige to Mecca in which he established the rites required for an Islamic pilgramige to Mecca, called Haji
