Day #1 , a group of 20people (Krakauers group) took a helicopter to the start of Mt Everest.

Group of 20 (Kraukauers group) arrived at the bottom part of Khumbu closure ;11,000ft into Mt Everest.

By this time they reached the top of Lobuche at 16,210ft .

Krakauers group decided to have a puja ceremony :the north of Tibet (base camp 1) at 16,900 ft.

Kraukers group reached base camp on his birthday and not only that but the remaining of the group was in good health.

Kraukers group reaches camp 2 at 21,00ft. The group decides to rest their lungs and get used to the thin air.

The ropes to help the mountaineers climb werent tied up well so the climbers had to delay there hike up the mountain till they were fixed.

Kraukers group reach Camp 3 at 24,500ft .

Mountaineers headed backed down to Camp 2 becasue they went to base camp 3 to help their lungs get adjusted to the thin air. A day or two later they headed back up again

Krakauers groups meets up with Fischers group and they both head to Mt. Lhotse at 27,940ft

Both groups make their way to Camp #4 at 26,000ft

Both groups headed for the summit of Mt everst at midnight.

There was about 8-9 deaths on Everest in 1996. But most of the mountaineers have already reached the summit and headed back to camp #4
