Rainsford and Whitney are out at sea and notice an island. -
Rainsford drops his pipe and falls off the boat. Rainsford swims to the island and meets General Zaroff and Ivan. Zaroff and Rainsford discuss the joys of the hunt. Rainsford realizes Zaroff likes to hunt people who appear on his island. Rainsford asks to leave the island, and when Zaroff says no, he runs into the jungle.

Zaroff hunts Rainsford, and Rainsford kills one of Zaroff’s dogs. Rainsford is chased by Zaroff’s dogs and heads to the sea.

After a long day of hunting, Zaroff returns to his room to find Rainsford waiting for him. He congratulates Rainsford on winning the game.

Rainsford kills Zaroff and sleeps in his bed.
