Minamoto No Yoritomo is born in Kyoto. -
War breaks out called heiji Rebellion. Yoritomo's father was killed and he becomes the leader however the Taira, who are in charge of the capital sent him into exile. He ended up in Izu in the Kanto plains. -
Minamoto No Yoritomo is kicked out of Izu for having an affair with his captor's daughter and is then taken to in by Hojo Tokimasa. -
Minamoto No Yoritomo has another affair with Hojo Masako, Hojo Tokimasa's daughter. However the father welcomes it and kills Hojo Masako's fiance to make room for Minamoto No Yoritomo to marry his daughter. -
A prince in Kyoto asks for help to eliminate the Taira people, Hojo Tokimasa and Minamoto no Yoritomo agree to help them. They go to Kyoto to meet them and team with them. The Genpei War begins. -

Yoritomo and his friends kill his cousin and take back Kyoto to keep their power. -

A serious illness killed Minamoto no Yoritomo when he was just 52 years old.
