  • The Alamo

    The Battle at the Alamo starts. American forces hold out for almost two weeks but were defeated.This battle is very significant to the Mexican -American War even though it happened before the war even started.
  • The Attack

    American troops are attacked by the enemies which are the hispanic soldiers. It all happened after the Mexican soldiers crossed the river, also known as the Rio Grande.
  • Declaring War

    American troops attacked by the Mexicans. President delivers the news to Congress.Congress responds declaring and instigating war against the Hispanic soldiers.
  • The Landing

    As general, Winfield Scott landed in Veracruz, Mexico leading numerous of men into many key battles while trying ti reach and obtain the country's capital.
  • Reaching the Capital

    At last the hard-working, weary soldiers had finally reached their destination, the capital. They finally captured Mexico City causing the soldiers to surrender leading to the treaty.
  • War Ended

    Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was agreed on and signed ending the Mexican-Amercian War. The treaty specifized clearly the borders betewwn America and Mexico.
