    Ninevah became the capital city of the Assyrian's land. It is on the left bank of the Tigris River. With the rise of Assyrian power, the city became a royal residence. It was finally established as the capitol by King Sennacherib.

    The people begin to use iron in thier inventions.

    The Assyrians eventually took back the and of Mesopotamis. They began using iron to make strongerweapoms and chariots. The iron age started to dawn in other parts of the world.

    Hammurabi, the babylonian king, took power of Mesopotamia. The fall of Babylon follows a specific patterns. Babylon rules, falls for seven periods of time, in a battle with kings from the east, then rises for a short time to fall again.

    The Assyrians ame in and defeated the lands rulers making Mesopotamia come under Assyrian rule. The land was taken over by the Kassites. The Kassites were a people who lived in the central Zargros region of millennia.

    After Ninevah was named the capitol, the rulers of the land built a huge library there. The library was built to hold tablets that contained the history myts and stoires from Somer, Babylon, and Assyria. The king believed it was his greatest accomplishment.

    The Sumerian people were taken over by the Akkadians established the Akkadian Empire. Sargon 1 of the Akkadians conquers most of the Sumerian city states and creates the worlds first empire the Akkadian Empire.

    As the people became smarter and learned more, they invented more items. The Sumerians began to use the wheel on vehicles. Which probably helped them a lot.
  • The written language was invented

    The Sumer people began using pictures for words, and they would draw the pictures to write sentences. They use them on clay tablets. It was the first writing.
  • The Sumers build temples to their gods

    The Sumer people built temples called ziggurats to worship their gods. They began building large and powerful cities.
  • The first people move in

    People called Sumer moved into the land called Mesopotamia. They planted crops and began farming the land. The Sumer form towns and cities.
