This is a wide fitting suit. This was the year that they want men to have a strong masculine presences, almost to make them seem more masculine. This was the most popular item for men in this decade. They would relax in their suits all the way to going to church in their suits. This decade they were made from wool or tweed, the suits were thicker and heavier then today's suits. They muted the colors more, to black, navy, brown and tan; not like the colors previous. -
