    1750s look
During the 1750s men wore waistcoats, with large cuffs and breeches. The thing that changed in 1750 was the type of fabric being used and the specific cut. If it was a more formal event the men would wear wigs and powder their hair.

One might say that the 1760s outfits look the same, but there are some key details that are different. The breeches are knee-length instead of to the ankles and the are sleeves are now full length. A new thing called "The macaroni" which is what the elite men would wear which in the 1960s consisted of tiny hats and delicate shoes.

The macaroni looks for the 1770s included every male whether elite or not could be apart of the Grand Tour. The men also kept the waistcoat, breeches look, but there were more options for "full dress" and "undress". Along with more fabric options and even different patterns were widely used. Another important detail is that the waistcoats started to shorten than in the previous decades.

During this time the look remained the same, but there were little details changed to make it more comfortable for the average male. For example, the shoes become low heeled and pointed with a buckle on top. The coat skirts were less full and it was cut in a curved line in the back. The coats were shorter and the upper leg was fitted better because it was made out of knitted silk.

Hats are becoming bigger this century and hair are starting to get tied back instead of letting it down for the men and there seem to be fewer men powdering their hair. The breeches become tight "pantaloons" instead of the usual look. It was the start of what pants look like now. The coats turned into the tailcoat look and the hats were long and more pointy. Giving me the Pirates of Cariban movie looks.
