Decloration of Independence
The Decloration of Independence has been known for many years. It was finished on July 4,1776(by Benjerman Franklin, Thomas Jefferson,Robert Livingston, John Adams,and Roger Sherman), but it was'nt officialy sighned and approved until August 2,1776. Now,because of the Decloration Of Independence, American citizens celebrates July 4 as Independence Day. -
United States Constitution
The U.S. Constitution is a very important event because thi was when we finnally got our freedom from England during the war. It also helped the U.S. end all of the suffering. It helped us begin our nation with a strong start. Without the Constitution, our nation would not be as free and as great as a nation that we are today. -
Louisianna Purtchase
The Louisiana Purchase was an important event in our history because the United States hardly had any land and we needed more land to be able to have more people to live in our country. The Louisiana Purchase was at a very cheap cost(only three cents each acre). It also gave us the oportunaty to have the New Orleans Port and also several other important landmarks in the U.S. -

The Assassionation of Abraham LIncoln took place on April 14,1865. Lincoln got shot in the back of the head,by John Wilkes Booth during the performance of "Our American Cousin",at Fords Theater in Washington D.C. Before that, Booth considered Lincoln the root cause for the destruction from the south and thats how the Assassionation of Abraham Lincoln happened in1865. -
Manhatten Project
The whole point of the Mannhatten Project was to syop World War 2 and force Japan to surrender. It also made opportunities to research more about nuclear weapons for future wars or conflicts. The bad part about the Mannhatten Project is that it gives other countries the chance to make more powerful weapons, wich could cause a threat towards America. -
john F. Kennedy's assasionation
John F. Kennedy was a great leader,being our 35 president, he was a promising and forward thinking man. But in 1963 on November 22, all of his promises went away when the assasans bullet killed him in Dallas, Texas when he was in his car. Several Americans dreams and hopes were crushed and the U.S. was devestated. -

9-11 was a very important date in U.S. history because the Twin Towers (major american landmarks) were distroyed by Osama Bin Laden and afew other terrorists. What happened was the terrorists planned to attack both of the twin Towers (using 2 planes) , the Pentagon (in washington D.C.), and what we believe the fourth plane was heading towards the United States Capitol(but ended up l;anding near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.In remembrance of the Twin Towers, Ground 0 now replaces their ground. -
Osama Bin Ladens Death
The death of Osama Bin Laden was important because the U.S. has been searching for him for years (about ten years to find him and kill him). He was one of Americas worst enemy for years until the Navy Seals team 6 found him and killed him. We also believe that the United States was the most obviouse target for his reckless hate.
