Survey and Introduction to Google Apps
Faculty and staff will participate in a survey on Google applications. Inservice sessions on Google apps will be offered depending on individuals' knowledge and what they would like learn. Gooogle teams will be formed. -
Google School
Teachers and students start to use google apps. (calendar, doc, power points, etc.)
School starts to work towards academies. -
One-to-one
Students will have an ipad or a notebook that also has internet access. They will be able to to school assignments as well as homework on the device. Textbooks will slowly be downloaded on to the devices. To prepare students for high school, school will start moving towards academies to encourage student to identify their career interest so when they get to high school they can take relevant courses. -
Moving towards Individualized Instruction for all students
Teachers will start personalizing students' assignments. Students will be able to use their personal devices at home and at school. -
Centralized Institution
Students and teachers will spend more time out in the community getting "hands on" experiences with their academy interest and less time on campus. -
MWIS Google School 2020
Google School with individualized instruction for all students. Students will work in teams within their academies. Students will spend numerous hours off campus getting "hands on" experiences. Absentism will be very minimal. Students who are unable to come to school can log in from home unless they are under doctor's care.
