This was another terrible idea. It was an attempt to fire up the glory days of the revolution by firing up the children of China, but it just led to the Red Guard forming, trying to tear down tradition by destroying anything associated with it, and intellectuals getting persecuted and sent to the countryside. This was not the intended result.
