Capitalism is an event trying to establish economic activity and growth. It is based on private ownership over government property. The private owners either want there product to be cheap to produce, or to create a major profit margin. Capitalism is a driver for innovation, wealth and prosperity. However it leads to the exploitation of both the consumers and employees. The importance of capitalism is that it has changed the way we persevere and interact with the financial world. -
The industrial revolution was when the transition to new manufacturing processes in Europe and the United States took place, causing the tremendous spike that occurred in the worlds population. Due to new machines, and new power sources being invented, it made existing industries more productive and efficient. This made farming, and production easier, meaning that there was more jobs available providing more money, and more food, which drew people in and causing the population increase.

During the Black War Europeans invaded the Aboriginals land. There were hostilities between the Europeans and Aboriginals due to British soldiers claiming the Australian island of Tasmania, this nearly resulted in the man slaughter of the Indigenous inhabitants living on the island. The Aboriginals saw the European invaders as ghosts of their dead ancestors. While the Europeans thought Aboriginals weren't as developed because they didn't have the advances in technology that the Europeans had.

The end of the Napoleonic Wars was when France was no longer able to challenge Britain for their land. Due to the fall of the French Empire Britain was no longer opposed for the ownership of land. This meant that the British Empire ended with global power for 100 years, this was known as the imperial century. They became the most Powerful hegemony, and they asserted dominance over the world because they were left unchallenged.

The infamous shootout at Stringybark Creek was about the Kelly gang murdering 3 Victoria Police officer and having the 1 survivor. Ned Kelly was known as the "Man of the people" because he stuck up for the little people and saved a boy who was drowning. However he was also an armoured criminal arrested for riding a stolen horse, committed 2 armed bank robberies and attempted to derail train tracks. This shows that some people thought Ned Kelly as a hero whereas some people saw him as a villain. -
The Boxer Rebellion was also known as the Society of the righteous and Harmonious Fists was located in Northern China. It was a violent campaign to drive all foreigners from China. It was an uprising that attempted to expel foreigners and foreigner influence from China. This was important because China strained relationships with foreigners. It also led to the end of the Qing dynasty, and they ended up paying $330 million to the Western China. -
There were different accounts to the ease of victory for the Australian cavalry. One account was that the riffles could not be used at the distance and rate that the horses were galloping at and the opposing enemy was unprepared for their entry through the desert. Another reason was that the Turks thought they were going to take shelter on foot, but instead showed up on horses for their advantage and their aiming was off. Another account was the strong bond formed between the horses and men.
