    the first industrial revolution, a transition to a new manufacturing process in Europe and the united states. Transitioned from having to hand make products to using machines to faster produce products. Products could be transported and made quickly for faster production. also reduced labour on children and women. The cause of the industrial revolution the emergence of capitalism, European imperialism, efforts to mine coal, and the effects of the Agricultural Revolution.
  • End of the Napoleonic wars

    The Napoleonic wars was a serious of major conflict and commotion including the French empire with led by Napoleon. In the end of the wars Britain had won and taken over most of Europe and had stopped the rivalry between France and the rest of Europe. Britain had won as the only way to get to Britain is by ship so they were able to well defend their country. The significance of the wars were that Europe was then controlled by a different leadership which has changed the modern world.
  • Black war

    the black war was a conflict between the new comers to Tasmania vs the Aboriginals who were originally on the land. there are two sides to the story so it is important to look at both sides then it isn't biased. to sum it up, the Europeans came to Tasmania thinking it was free land when it wasn't. they were peaceful to start off with but then became aggressive towards the aboriginals and ended up hunting and killing most, while taking women as sex slaves.
  • The Boxer Rebellion

    The Boxer rebellion was an uprising on Chinas behalf as they didn't believe in having ethnics in their country so they had either kidnapped and kicked them out of the country or killed some. in this case there is also two sides to the story but it is important to feel empathy towards the ethnics as people have different beliefs and it doesn't define who they are. in the modern world it is very multicultural so the boxer rebellion has helped shaped the world.
