Seeking a magic fruit on the island of Orchidia a group of travelers decided to settle and expand on this island. -
Development
After nearly 100 years the people of Ochidia began having an increasingly large population, leading to problems of property and rights. -
Way of life
The people of Orchidia began as basic people, with basic language, basic way of living and pretty basic way of governing. But with the ever increasing population there had to be some control. -
First Government
With a large population somone had to take the lead. Otter Puff, the biggest land owner at the time decided to take control and implement a republic like that of Sparta. -
Turmoil
People didn't like this government or the way of ruling. They were not getting their needs met and it seemed they had absolutely no say in the government, even though it seemed like a republic it was more like a monarchy. This went on for a couple decades until people could no longer put up with it. -
Revolution
People were not getting their needs met and a large number of the population decided to revolt. They were successful to overthrow the fromer government and they decided to create a government in which everyone had a say. -
Formation of new government
By conducting surveys the people decided to form a participatory democracy, one with balance and in which people could participate with every action the elected officials were conducting. The consitution was formed and it included things like basic rights and being able to participate or not participate but still have a clear say in the actions of the government. -
Harmony
With a new form of government and one in which people could be involved everything became balanced and everyone had their needs met. The population of Orchidia decreased due to people emmigrating to diferent nations, because of this the population remained low and a participatiory democracy worked flawlessly. -
Evolution of government
Technological advances and new ideas being spread in the island created a shift in government, just a slight shift that resembled a bit of the consitution of the United States, still implementing patricipatory democracy but a few changes in rights of property and other things that had to be reinorced. The island lives in harmony and it prospers in the modern age.
