The speech pg.27
"When Major saw that they had all made themselfs comfortable adn were waiting attentively, he cleared his throat and began." Old major calls animals to meet in the barn for his speech. -
Old Majors death pg.35
"His body was buried at the foot of the orchard".
Old major died three days after the speech. -
The rebellion pg 38
"Jones and his men found themselves being butted and kicked." Because of the rebellion the animals now have power over the farm. -
The 7 commandments pg. 43
"The commandments were written on the tarred wall in great white letters that could be read thirty yards away." -
Jones comes back to reclaim his farm pg.56
Jones and all of his men, with half a dozen others from Foxwood and Pinchfield, had entered the five-barred gate and were coming up the cart-track that led to the farm." The men end up not winning the battle whitch leads to another attach latter in the book. -
The windmill pg 64
"After surveying the ground, Snowball declared that this was just the placefor a windmill, which could be made to operate dynamo and supply the farm with electrical power." This will have a major impact in the book later because it gets destroyed twice and they have to start over again both times. -
Snowballs death sentence pg. 82
"Comrades, here and now I pronounce the death sentence upon Snowball." Snowball destroyed the windmill and has now set back the animals 2 years.
