On this day, the US Constitution was started. A group of men gathered together and began "brainstorming" for their country. This was, obviously, after the war, and they were already individual from England. This didn't mean they had a country though. So, on this day, the beginning of America began.
  • Adaption of the US Constitution

Today, the US Constitution was signed. It took quite a long time to create, but the waiting was worth it. Once it was signed, the new country was official! Without this event, we wouldn't have America. This moment in history is incredibly important.

  • Period: to

    Gilded Age

This is a time that had been dubbed "The Gilded Age". It is when the wealth and prosperity of America masked the dirty, poor, and hungry aspects. This timespan is influetial because it drew thousands upon thousands of immigrants to America, because the foreigners imagined a rich life (when in reality, they were much mistaken).

This day has been, and will be, remembered for years to come. This day started the idea of the war that we are currently fighting in the Middle East. If it wasn't for this day, we would be a completely different country.
