Ralph is mind Jammed
Ralph walks down a path and gets his brain to think about what to do in the next meeting. -
Boys make way for Ralph
On the assembly ground, the boys were aware of Ralph's grim mood and did their best not to irritate him. -
Description of the Assembly place
The place where the boys held their meetings was like an irregular triangle. with a log for Ralph to sit down on... (Not really Importatn details.) -
Ralph admits
Ralph knows that the trouble of being a cheif is that you had to be able to think intellectually and he admits that he did not have the thinking capability like Piggy's. -
Stuff goes through Ralph's Head
Ralph knows that Piggy can think like a chief only that he is not one. (Ralph seems to hold positions like they are everything) The sun reminded him of how time was passing and that he had to think of what to say during the next meeting. -
Another Meeting
Ralph seemed to call for another meeting and the other boys came very quickly. They all know that Ralph was angry as another ship passed by while the signal fire was out. (The boys seem to have high EQ or at least some emotional understanding) -
Ralph sets things straight
Ralph finally says that they need an assembly not for messing around but for legitimate serious business, to set things straight. Eg. The littlun is getting bullied by a lot of other people. Ralph would then use that assembly to try and discourage bullying. -
Meeting. Topic 1
Ralph says that they usually have water filled in coconut shells, and at that time they just drink straight from the river. --> Ralph is really trying to do something in the meeting. He is that desperate that he just bring up an irrelevent topic. -
Meeting. Topic 2
Ralph asks the boys who build the shelters that the boys sleep in and just talks about random things. --> He is really screwing up the meeting. Ralph=Desperate------> He cannot think very intellectually = Ralph's downfall -
Meeting. Topic 3
Ralph complemented the boys fOR using the rocks riht behind the bathing pool as a toilet as the waves 'flushes' the wastes. However, Ralph made aware that everyone is dumping anywhere they like and it is unhygenic. When Ralph was talking, the assembly roared and laughed. --> Ralph is losing respect and Power -
Piggy Requested for the Conch
Piggy raised his hands for the conch, however Ralph turned him down as Ralph got the meeting planned out. -
Meeting. Point 4
Ralph states that the boys are neglecting the fire and he is telling the boys how important the fire was. The hunters were giggling. -->Ralph seriously lost power. -
Even more evidence that Ralph lost power
There were some boys that said that Ralph stated too many things for one meeting. -->Rudeness -

Ralph said that all fires, including cooking fires should only be done at the mountain. Reminding the boys that he is cheif and they had to listen to him --> The way Ralph handle things is just awful -
Ralph is being a bit bossy
Ralph summarises his points that he talked about so far, Jack tries to stop Ralph but Ralp has not finish yet and Jack critisises Ralph for keep talkig and talking. Then Ralph rubs it in Jack's face that he has the conch -

Ralph stated that the boys had a good start on life on the island, then, they started to fear. Ralph says that there is nothing to that fear and they should just be careful of things and be happy. he pictures three boys walking slong the beach -->nostalgic -
Jack gets things off his chest
Jack accuses the littluns for starting the fear thing and how that the other boys put up with it. The littluns do not help in anything and they are just useless. Jack also says that they have to put up with the fear they generated. Jack also says that fear can't hurt anyone --> Irony, fear of Ralph threatening his leadership caused him to hunt the crap out of Ralph. Lastly, Jack also says that the beast does not exist -
Jack attempts to calm the other boys.
Jack said that he was a hunter and that he had been on the entire island. Thus if there was a beast, he would have seen it. -->Jack can calm the boys down, shows that he is a better leader than Ralph. -
Piggy's turn to speech
Piggy disagrees with Jack and says that the fear thing is nonsene.. ----> WTfreak is Piggy thinking? Oh I disagree with Jack, this fear thing is nonsense. Jack:This Fear thing does not exists, I have explored the entire island and have seen no beast. Both Piggy and Jack's points are similar and Piggy is like 'Oh I disagree with Jack' Piggy really loves to talk -
Piggy's position in society

Fear +
Phil, a littlun tells the other boys about his dream of fighting with the twisty things in trees. This caused the boys to fear more. Phil also gives other horror desciptions of his dreams. -
IDK what to name this event
Ralph asks whether anyone was wandering in the forest at night to try and rid Phil of his fear. Simon stood up and was questioned by Ralph on why he did that. Simon said that he wanted to go to a place he knew in the Jungle. Ralph told SImon not to wander off at night anymore. -
More Fear???
Piggy told Ralph that there was another Littlun. Percival walked up and Ralph had to ask for his name many times -->Scared. Percival told them about the beast that can hide. -
Disorder and more fear.
Percival said that his Dad told him that they had not discovered all the species in the ocean yet so the beast being true may not be that far-fetched. Someone suggested that it was a squid but another person said that Squids could not exit the water, thus the whole assembly started argueing. -
Simon believes in the beast?
Simon told everyone that maybe, just maybe, the beast exists. Everyone bursted out in laughter as it was surprising that Simon believes in that kind of stuff. -
The cycle
The boys continue the cycle of the debating of whether the beast existed and evidence that the beast did or did not exist.
Jack continued to use this opportunity to hint to the boys that he is a better leader than Ralph. He kept trying to say that the beast existed so the other boys might follow Jack as Jack's hunting skills can grant them safety agaist the beast.
