Plane Crash
A group of kids aged 6 to 12 find themselves stranded on an island after their plane is shot down. There is no sign of humans other than themselves, and the pilot is nowhere to be found. -

The Fire
Shortly after the crash, a chief has been established. With his newly found chief role, Ralph establishes that the boys will have a fire burning at all times. This is because he wants to get rescued from the island as soon as possible, and the smoke will help to attract nearby ships. -

First Sighting of the "Beast"
During an assembly, one of the littluns claims to have seen a beast in the forest. He says that it is a big snake like creature that came from the water during the nighttime. The boys all laugh at the child, and Ralph tells him that a large beast would not be able to hide on the island that they are on. Jack then reassures the boy saying that there is no beast, but if there is one, he and his hunters would find and kill it. -

First Meat
Jack and his group of boys decide to become hunters to supply food to the boys. They find their first pig by following its tracks, but the pig gets away when Jack hesitated to kill it. The second pig is not as lucky, as the boys successfully kill it. Unfortunately, all of the boys who were to keep the fire running went hunting. Ralph sees a ship in the distance, but the fire is out, and the ship does not see them. This causes the boat to pass, and leave the boys without rescue. -

Second Sighting of the Beast
At night, while everyone is asleep, a soldiers plane gets shot down and he dies while landing on the island. The next morning, while collecting wood Sam and Eric spot the pilot. They move closer to get a better look, and mistake it for the beast. They run away and think that they are being followed. In reality, it is their imaginations getting the best of them. Once they get back to the camp, they tell the others, and a hunt is proposed to find and kill the beast. -

Third Sighting of the "Beast"
Ralph joins Jack and his group of hunters, and they make their way to the mountain. By the time they get there, it is getting dark, but they continue anyways. Eventually, None of the boys want to continue, but Jack calls Ralph scared. Ralph takes this as a challenge, and continues up the mountain. As they get further, Jack spots something and lets Ralph know. He comes up and they are confronted by "the beast". In reality, it is the pilot and his parachute, moving in the wind. -

Jack Leaves the Group
After the boys "see the beast" Jack says that he and his hunters will go out to kill the beast. Ralph dismisses this idea, and claims that they are just "boys armed with sticks". This infuriates Jack, and he calls a meeting, saying that Ralph is not fit to be a chief. None of the boys side with him, so Jack runs away to form his own group. -

The Sacrifice
After Jack forms his own group, most of the bigguns go to join his group, even after not voting him for chief. He and his group go hunting for a pig. Eventually, they find one, and kill it. But not before cutting its head off and putting it on a stick as a offering to the beast. -

Simon Climbs the Mountain
Simon goes into the forest alone, and finds the pig head on a stick. He begins to hallucinate that it is the Lord of the Flies, and that it talks to him. He eventually faints, and when he wakes up, he gets an urge to climb the mountain. He finds what the other boys thought was the beast, and recognizes it as a dead pilot. With his new found knowledge, he starts to head back to the other boys, still in a somewhat delirious state. -

Simon's Death
In the middle of a feast that Jack had started, a storm came. And the boys became to dance. They formed circles and pretended to kill pigs, prodding at a boy in the middle with spears, or clubs. In the middle of the dancing, Simon crawls out of the forest. Trying to tell the boys of his discovery. The boy's minds make them think that Simon is the beast, and they rush over to him. They rip and tear him apart, until he stops moving. When the dance is finished, Simon is dead. -

Burning the Forest
During one of the assemblies, Piggy spots that the fire has gotten out of control. It caught a tree, and had begun spreading around the mountain.
