Miles and Chip talk to a police eyewitness who also thinks that it wasn't an accident.

Miles and the Colonel have decided that the accident wasn't suicide.

The Colonel and Miles get into a major fight over whether they should investigate Jake. Later, they make up and apologize to each other.

Miles and Takumi talk to each other at McDonalds and begin to mourn over Alaska.

Takumi joins the investigation. They find out that she wasn't drunk enough to be unable to swerve. Miles steals a breathalyzer.

Miles and Colonel tell Takumi everything that has happened so far except for the kiss.

Miles and the gang have to write finals for school and end up cheating slightly.

Miles realizes that even though it was a labyrinth of suffering, he would still choose it over his old life.

Miles reads the note and forgives Alaska hoping that she will forgive him.

Takumi leaves a note to miles telling him that he also saw Alaska the night she died and that Alaska told him that she forgot to put flowers in her mothers grave. So she panicked, and left without saying another word.
