    Miles leaves his home in Florida to go to Culver Creek boarding school in Alabama to find "The Great Perhaps". At Culver Creek he meets his roomate Chip Martin, also known as "The Colonel". Chip gives Miles the name "Pudge" and is called that by everyone. Chip then introduces Miles to Alaska and they buy cigarettes from her. Later on, Miles smokes his first cigarette with The Colonel. This goes against what his father says of "No Smoking". This also shows Miles' new independence.

    Three guys take Miles out of his bunk and take him to the lake. Once they are there, they duct tape his arms to his sides and duct tape his legs together. After all of this is done, they throw Miles into the lake and told him to stay away from Chip because they believed he ratted out two people who got kicked out.

    In World Religeon class Miles gets kicked out by Dr. Hyde for not paying attention. Alaska then stood up and shouted at Dr. Hyde and she as well got kicked out. Also later that day, hip, Alaska, Miles, and Takumi went to the smoking hole which Miles had never been to before.

    Alaska tels Pudge that she named herself Alaska. She also tells Pudge why she named herself Alaska.

  • 99 Days before

    Miles, Takumi, The Colonel, and Alaska get caught smoking and are sent to the jury. Alaska and The colonel take all the blame and have to do community service.

  • 87 Days before

    Miles gos on a date with Alaska and her boyfriend, Chip and his girlfriend, and Takumi. They go to a basketball game at the school. Chip keeps yelling at the other team and almost gets ejected. Later, Miles gets hit in the head with ball and hits his head off the ground giving him a concusion.

  • 67 Days before

    Miles finds out that Alaska was the one who got two people expelled for commiting a trifecta. He thinks this is why theweekday warriors flooded Alaska's room.

  • 58 Days before

    Miles stays at Culver Creek with Alaska for thanksgiving instead of going home to see his parents.

  • 49 Days Before

    Alaska and Miles go through different people's room trying to find porn. When they find some they go into a room with a tv and watch it together. Alaska complains to Miles about how unrealistic it is.

  • 47 Days Before

    The Colonel invites Alaska and Miles to his mom's trailer for a thanksgiving dinner. Alaska and Miles realize why The Colonel despises the weekday warriors so much while they are at the trailer.

  • 44 days before

    Alaska and Miles go to a liquor store to buy wine, vodka, and cigarettes. Alaska comes to Miles crying because she ratted out the people. The Colonel overhears them talking about it and now doesn't trust Alaska as much.

  • 8 Days Before

    Alaska, Miles, and Chip plan to do a pre-prank on The Eagle so he won't expect the real prank.

  • 3 Days before

    The Colonel tells The Eagle he is taking Miles and Takumi to New Hope, but they actually just go to the barn instaed. Lara and Alaska arrive later and everyone is ready for the pre-prank. Everyone has certain jobs. Miles and Takumi set off firecrackers to distract The Eagle, Lara put blue dye in Kevin's gel, Chip hacked into a computer, and Alaska made fake progress reports and put the, in the weekday warriors mailboxes.

  • 2 Days Before

    Alaska talks about how her mother died when she was a little girl of a brain aneurysm. She blames the death on herself because her mom was lying on the ground unconcious. Alaska says she should've called 911 but she was too young and scared to understand the situation. Miles and Lara kiss and Lara agrees to be his girlfirend.

  • The Day Before

    Alaska, Chip, and Miles play truth or dare. Alaska dared Miles to hook up with her so they started kissing. She gave him pointers as it was happening. After they were done kissing they went back to Miles' and Chip's room and fell asleep together. Later that night Alaska screams at Miles and Chip to help her get out of there so they light off firecrackers to distract The Eagle.

  • The Day After

    The Eagle brings everyone into the gym and asks if everyone is here. Miles screams that Alaska isn't. The Eagle says that's what we're here to talk about and that Alaska died.

  • 2 Days After

    Miles tells his parents about Alaska dying. That night he has a dream about Alaska dying in front of him.

  • 6 Days After

    There is a funeral for Alaskla. Miles meets her dad and talks about why it is a closed casket.

  • 9 Days After

    Miles and Chip try and figure out if Alaska's death was accidental or suicide.

  • 29 Days After

    Chip calls Alaska's boyfriend and he finds out they didn't get into a fight before she died.

  • 62 Days After

    Miles finds the picture Alaska drew the night of her death. The drawing was of white daiseys. He realizes this must be linked to her death since there were white daiseys with her in the car she died in.

  • 102 Days After

    Miles and his friends pull a prank on The Eagle. They hired a male stripper for speakers day. It was a prank that Alaska came up with.

  • 114 Days After

    Miles, Takumi, and Chip find out that Alaska was driving to her mothers grave when she died. She asked them for help to get out of the school because she forgot the anniversary of her mother's death.
