I chose to redesign the NASA logo for there to be one that is simpler and kid friendly
-
The first step was too write out my ideas and plans for the new brand
-
This is where I first put out some ideas for my brand which involved possible fonts, colours, images, etc. that I might use.
-
We looked at the 10 Rules of Composition to get a sense of what good design looks like for our logos.
-
Then we had to learn how to use many different tools on photoshop and be able to use them effectively before making my logo. The Pen Tool being an important one.
-
This is where I drew out some of my ideas and then chose my best idea. Then I drew the one I liked the bets larger and coloured it. Once I was done I could start making the logo on photoshop.
-
I started making my logo on photoshop. I finished the top point and the "N" in the logo. I used the pen tool because it was what helped to make the lines and curves I needed.
-
Another work day; where I finished the letters "A" and "S".
-
Continuing in class I finished the last "A" and made the wings on the sides of my logo.
-
This last day I edited my logo and made sure it was done. Looking back to my drawn rough copy I could see the difference in drawing the logo and using photoshop to create it.
