Get a medical exam including a blood pressure test every 2 years, get a gynecological and breast exam, and pap smear every 2-3 years. Have eye exams and dentist cleanings every year at least. Be careful about accidental injuries. Special concerns include being careful about sexual, metal, and emotional health.

    Maintain a healthy weight with exercise and a healthy diet, as metabolism has slowed. Be sure to get good sleep. Avoid drugs and cigarettes and limit alcohol. Wear sunscreen. Reduce stress. Keep rack of BMI, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Keep care of sexual and reproductive health. Also take care of emotional and mental health. Follow your healthcare providers recommendations for health screenings, go to the dentist every 6-12 mo. Take care of your skin and build muscle.

    Important decade for preventing diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Maintain healthy eating, drinking, and exercise habits. Specific concerns are heart health, chronic pain, stress, BMI, osteoporosis, blood glucose, and anxiety and depression. Sexual dysfunction and contraception difficulties may arise as well as beginnings of menopause. Skin problems may arise. Hearing and vision could become issues so doctor appointments should be semi regular. Get checkups and dental exams as recommended.
