Muhammad's Birth and Infancy
Muhammad was born in 570 in a town in Mecca. He grew up in in the hill country. His name means "to praise, to grlorify". He was the only child of Abd Allah bin Al-Muttalib and Amina bint Wohb. Muhammad's dad died before his birth.

Muhammad become an orphan
When Muhammad was 5 or 6 his mom took him to his dad's grave. On their way back home his mom got ill and died. Muhammad's mother was buried in a village in Abwa. His nurse took him to his grandfather. There he learned the rudiments of statecraft.Mecca was Arbia's most important pilgrimage center.

Muhammad started making long retreats to mountain cave outside town. He visited by an overpowering presence. there, he instructed to recite words of such beauty.It took Muhammad many years for him to tell his family.

Muhammad started to reveal the message. They were gathered verse by verse and would become a Qur'an. His followers and him were first disparage and ridiculed. The Mecca's leaders attemped to assasinate Muhammad.

Muhammad and the Muslims Emigrate to Medina
Muhammad and his followers left Mecca and went to Yathrib. His father was burried there in oasis town. The city(Yathrib) became known as Medina. They stayed for many years.

During 624, Muhammadwon won the battle with Mecca.Muhammad's daughter and Ali, Abu's son, were married 2 mounths after the battle ended.

Muhammad's final years
Muhammad and his follwers went back and lived in Medina. He returned to Mecca for last time in March 632 to perform a pilgrimage.After he did that he returned to Medina.Three mouths after he returned to Medclina; he had an illness and past away saddly.

Fatimah, Muhammad's daughter, died a few mounths later after Muhammad's death. -

Muhammad was about 8 when his grandfather died in 578. Muhammad was under his uncle "abu Talib,"protection for many years. He was a independent child when he was little.

Muhammad worked as a shephed in his teen years. Sometimes Muhammad travels with a merchant named Abu Talib. The older merchants nicknamed Muhammad El-Amin, which means the one you can trust.

Muhammad's Marriage and family
Around 595, Muhammad married a wealthy woman named Khadija. when they married, he was only 25 and she was about 40. Together they had 6 kids, but two boys died.

Muhammad Re-marriage
In about 619, Muhammad's wife, Khadija and his uncle,Abu Talib, died.His followers and his own Quraysh tribe relationship got worse. Not for long after Khadija's dealth he re-married to Sawda, she was a wife of Sokran.
