    Miranda is a normal highschool girl, who records her life in her journal as things go astralogically wrong. Scientists say that a meteor would hit the moon on May 18 around 9:30 PM, but they miscalculated it's density. When the meteor hits, it knocks the moon closer to earth, causing massive floods and tsunamis all over the globe. It has also messed with the electricity and caused freak storms, sending people panicking. Miranda is beginning to grasp that theworld will never be the same.

    Life gets harder for the stranded family when the natural gas gets shut off. Now, they must rely on their woodstove. As if that weren't enough, Mrs. Nesbitt passes, and in one of the last television broadcasts ever sent to Pennsylvania, newscasters reported massive amounts of erupting volcanoes. The following day, the sky was grey, and the snow that fell from there on was tainted.
