Rebels in Misurata
After the riots in Benghazi, anti-governement rebels took over the coastal city of Misurata just outside Tripoli. Pro-government citizens attacked the rebels causing a rather large battle in Misurata. -
No Fly Zone
The United Nations decided to vote for a no fly zone over libya to protect civilians from Gaddafi's air strikes on the rebel forces. -

With no where to run, Gaddafi is found alive trying to flee Sirte. He his captured by the rebels and gruesomely beaten and mangled to death in public. -

Three days after Gaddafis death, the National Transitional council declares Libya to be Liberated.
