    the ancient Greeks and Romans were the first to invent and have a democracy rune place. Cleisthenes "the father of democracy" created three different groups, one group created laws and policies, the other had a member of each Athenian tribes and dikasteria to represent there tribe, and the third group was lottery-selected jurors who people would go to argue there case on whatever. although it didn't last long back then, over the years democracy have became a huge role on politics.

    magna carta was a royal charter signed by King John of England that was used to help the barons but the charter was then ignored by Pope innocent 3rd, leading to a civil war caused by the barons. the magna carta was then revived but changed by king johns son, to this day mangna carta is a symbol of liberty as it was originally created to help the barons to protect there rights of being mistreated unfairly from being illegally imprisoned to having the access to church taken away.

    the haudenosaunee confederacy was made to help the existing nations that consists of the mohawks, onondanga, oneida, cayuga, and seneca to live peacifully amongsts each other. each nations have there own cheif to handle there own personal issues but once the issue is out of hand and may affect the other nation than it needs to be handle by the grand council. they made agreements to share land for hunting grounds and respect each others privacy, making them the longest participatory democracies.

    The reformation was a movement against the corruption of the catholic church and its involvment in religion, politics, education, and culture. the church was then divided in half, the first half wanted to get rid of the church and have a protestmant beleif while the other half was still faithful to the church and beleived the church should still be in power.

    Europe and the U.S started replacing hand made stuff with machines. the growth of machinery changed the way people would live but also effected the way people would work but in a positive way. workers were able to work twice as fast with half the effort then would have without machines. there was a huge growth in the economy, so much so they was a second industrial revolution and more people around the world the started following in the machinery industry.

    the american revolution was about the thirteen colonies who wanted to independence from the great Britain have there own land to rule. the difference in political views caused a war between the thirteen colonies and great Britain which was won by the colonies. when great Britain lost the war, a new state was created called the united state of america where there was a revolution on political views creating a liberal democracy.

    The french revolution was the creation of the third estate wanting liberalism, they wanted equality and freedom since they were being treated poorly and suffered underneath the kings ruling.King Louis XVI believed in absolute monarch and social status,the lower you were on the status the less right you were allowed. The rich spent money like it was nothing and took advantage of there privilege, leading the government to go bankrupt and in debt do to the lack of political stance on governing.
