    Americans valued new ideas and theories during the enlightenment. Philosophers, and chemists, and scientists paved the way for what science is now. They used new ideology that went against religion and politics that had never been done before. These values shaped their American Dream by giving them a freedom and motuvatin to pursue what they belived to be a scientific break through.
