In 1419 the Portuguese discovered the Madeira Islands when they were trying to go to Asia. So the Portuguese also set trading posts on the Islands and they also brought people there as well.

The Gonzales Volunteers made a surprise attack at dawn to the Mexicans. The Texans empowered a flag while fight naming the COME-AND-TAKE-IT Flag. The Mexican army's mission was to posses the canon but they retreated with no canon and the Texans soldiers won.

About 50 soldiers marched to Goliad to fight the Mexican army. The army defeated the MExican arm in about 30 minutes with a surprise attack. They captured the Presidio La Bahía
