    Henry Tudor was born on June 28, 1491 in Greenwich Palace, in Greenwich, London. He was one of seven kids of King Henry VII and Elisabeth York. Sadly, only he, his two brothers and one sister survived. Since his brother, Arthur, was older he was the next in line for the throne, but died at the age of 15. Arthur was married to the daughter of the Spanish King but when he died Henry married her at the age of 10 to keep the alliance with Spain. Then he was kinged when he was 17 years old.

    King Henry VIII creates an Act Of Supremacy, in which he declares himself head od the church of England. He breaks away from Catholocism so he is no longer under the rule of the Roman Pope. It was also created to allow Henry to divorce his wife, Catherine.

    Kathryn, born 1521, was Henry's ifth wife, Henry was 49 and Kathryn was 19. She was e avery emontional and silly person. Her young spirit brought the "zest" back into his life, and Henry called her a "rose without a thorn". When she was first accused of adultery, the king refused to believe it because he cared for her so much and admired her light-heartedness.

    Kathryn Howard Executed

    She was executed on account of infidelity. She flirted with several younger men, and she appointed one of her admirers as a personal secretary before her execution. It was understandable that she would be interested in younger men her own age. Her execution took place at Tower Green.

    Katherine, born in 1512, was widowed a total of three times. She was very interested in reformation, and disliked conservatives. Katherine was nearly arrested for having banned books and supporting the reformation. King Henry was often worried that she was ordering him around too much, but Katherine got out of it by feeding his ego. She was also very educated, and published two books.

    King Henry VIII Dies

    King Henry was 56 when he died. The cause of his death is unknown, but it could be caused by a number of things, because Henry wasn't exactly the definition of health. Many believe he died of syphilis. He was survived by his wife, Katherine Parr.

    Because he was the sole heir to throne, Edward had to ascend the throne at only 9 years old. He continued in his father's protestant faith and many were worried about his death, fearful about Mary taking the throne.

    Edward was only 15 years old when he died of tuberculosis, and he only ruled for 6 years. Many were sad about his death, especially because it meant that Mary I would be ascending the throne.

    She was announced quuen at age 37, after her younger brother Edward had died of tuberculosis. There were plans set to foil her ascension to the throne, because she planned on switching England back to Catholocism.

    "Bloody Mary" Begins Executions

    Since the restoration of Catholocism, Katherine began to arrest people who refused her church and didn't restore property back to the church. She condemned about 275 poeple to be burned at the stake, which is how she earned her nickname, Bloody Mary.

    Mary I Dies

    After falsely assuming she was pregnant for the second time, Mary became very ill. She drifted in and out of consiousness but was able to pass down the crown to Elizabeth. She died after mass, and a priest performed the Last Rites.

    Elizabeth died an unmarried woman. With no heir to the throne, the Tudor dynasty had ended and was passed on to the Stuarts. The later years of Elizabeth's reign were known as the "Golden Age" because of all the trials that England had prevailed in, including the threat of Mary, Queen of Scots, and a Spanish Armada attack on England.
