    Bell Telephone Laboratories created the transitor in 1947. The transistor could amplifies, controls, and generates electrical signals Also, the transistor was like a vacuum tube but not as big or heat- generating. It could be used in many electronic devices.

In response, NASA was created in 1958. NASA stood for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. This organization explored space.
