Microsoft Part 2
Computers have changed the way we access information. They also have changed the way we communicate with each other, using internet sites like Facebook and Twitter. Without these tech pioneers, I would be completing this project in a very different way.
I would like to have been a witness to the making of the first personal computer. What I admire most, is the fact that they never gave up. It must have been very difficult trying to get people to believe in their idea. -
Microsoft is Founded
A new computer company, Microsoft, has been formed by Paul Allen and Bill Gates in Albuquerque, NM. The first computers are
sold as kits. Microsoft is formed! By the end of this year, they will have raked in $16,005. This could change the way we communicate and work. Who knows what this technology will bring.
Now all Americans will be able to own their own home computer! Americans can work from home and network worldwide and will be able to have any question they can imagine answered. -
Elvis Presely's Death
The King of Rock'n'Roll is dead. He died at approximately 2:00 pm, of a heart attack at the age of 42. We will remember him as a great entertainer.
Elvis helped to make Rock'n Roll popular. He inspired many artists in the past and present. Rock'n Roll gave way to many styles like Rap, Hip Hop and much more. He also inspired rock bands like Quiet Riot, AC/DC and many more. Elvis was not at all just in music. He was also a star in many movies like "Blue Hawaii" and many more. -
Elvis Part 2
I would like to know what Elvis was thinking about the future of rock. If he thought it would die or blossom or if he was thinking about it at all. But, Rock'n Roll will never die! Elvis's spirit will continue to live on in music for years to come until the day Elvis really dies... in our hearts. -
MTV is on the air
A new channel on television called MTV has been born. IT has been formed by John Lank for young adults. IT shows new music videos to the public from Rock to Hip Hop.
This event is also important, because it broke the color barrier. MTV showed black music and white to show that music dose not have to be segregated. MTV then started to show more safe sex and no smoking ads to encourage watchers. -
MTV Part 2
This TV channel shaped the future by trying to have respectable adults. It also gave celebrities a shout out at a young age in their career.
I would like to attend this event, because I would like to see and hear music when I turn on the TV. I would be able to see Queen, Micheal Jackson and many more at the peak of their careers. -
The Simpsons
A short of a cartoon family, The Simpsons, have been put on the Tracey Ullman show. They have been noticed by the men at FOX. By my opinion is that it is funny and great for a real TV show.
This event is important because it formed other shows. The Simpsons inspired shows like Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad and others. It also predicted the future many times. Such as Trump's presidency. -
Simpsons Part 2
It also showed that cartoons can be funny for all ages. It was also very controversial in other countries for "unnecessary" humor, but didn't stop the show. It 615 episodes and counting!
I would like to attend this event because I love The Simpsons and I would want to know why they made it and what inspired them. Also it has a great mini park at Universal. -
Hubble Space Telescope
A new spacecraft has been launched by NASA. It will let astronauts look at space in space rather than on Earth. The Hubble Space Telescope is going to let us see new far away planets and stars.
This event is important, because it will give students and others new knowledge of space. It today has found many things like the first exoplanet. And it lets us see other solar systems that could help us find life. -
Hubble Part 2
This event shaped the future by giving way to new space telescopes. It let children learn about not just our solar system but others. Also it made other countries jealous of our new tech.
I would like to live during this and see it be launched, because I want to see this "stone age" tech compared to ours today. -
Columbine High Shooting
There has been a tragedy at Columbine High School. Two boys, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. 13 dead and 20 wounded. After the massacre the boys turned the guns on themselves and committed suicide. There are teens and parents in hysterics. We will remember those who died for years to come.
This event is important, because this is one of the first mass killing involving a school. It also sparked other kids to commit these horrible crimes. But worst of all it made school shootings a regular thing. -
Columbine Part 2
This event shaped the future in many ways. It made more strict laws about guns.Like how Hilary wanted to mess with the 2nd Amendment which is the right to bear arms. It made other scared to be at school because of the fear of being shot.
I would like to attend the event and attend the school before the shooting to report them. The reason is for how they acted during school and how they made plans in public. -
Wall-E Health Message
A new Disney movie Wall-E is released into the box offices. It carries a health message about how you need exercise and a healthy diet. The main character is a robot who's purpose is to clean up trash.
This event is important because of how it shaped the future. It inspired Disney to make more hidden messages in movies. Other messaged movies are Jurassic Park which questioned human power, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit which fought against segregation. -
Wall-E Part 2
This graph didn't do much shaping but it did have Disney make more messaged movies. For example Inside Out talked about how you should always keep happy and to balance you emotions. Kids don't learn much but some notice.
I would like to attend this production, because I would like to announce the meaning to the viewers. So America, isn't the fattest but the fittest. -
Trump's presidency
A new republican is in the White House! His name is Donald J. Trump. He promises to improve our government, taxes and society itself. He had a lot of fights to fight like Hillary ,Bernie and the press.
This event is important in history in how it will shape the future ingood and bad ways. It increased controversy over using "fake news". And he formed the muslim ban, because of the religious group ISIS. He also wants to improve health care and taxes. So Trump plans to Make America Great Again! -
Trump Part 2
I would like to attend this at first hand so I could tell Trump to calm it down a little both speaking and acting. He also needs to keep up the hand motions. -
Change the World
A rookie marine scientist has found 3 new underwater plant species that could cure many major diseases. This scientists name is Kenneth C. Christensen. He says that our own oceans could hold wonders greater than space! Others think he's full of it but we could find the cure for cancer in a big old swimming pool.
This is important because we as humans can find links to our history underwater. So all of the explorers in caves looking for temples should go to the sea instead. -
Change The World 2
The sea could hold the secrets of our evolutionary ancestors, cures and so much more!
This could shape our future by having everything we need for a good life being sourced under the sea. Like long-term cures for the minor cold to the major cancer. We could also find out what sparked amphibious life from the sea. Even minor bodies of water could hold major discoveries.
In the future I would tell myself to look harder. And to love family time more than work time. So to myself now good luck.
