    Johnny gets a job working as a silversmith. He is very full of himself and makes fun of the boys that are there that help him. Mr. Lapham is trying to teach Johnny how to be kind and humble.

    The Laphams got a big order from Mr. Lyite. The boys that Johnny makes fun of brought him a cracked mold and the silver spilled out burning Johnny's hand.

    Johnny loses his job because of his hand. Johnny's mother gives him a cup that was apart of a 4 set and everyone apart of the Liyts got. He shows it to the Liyts and they accused him of stealing the cup.

    When Johnny was walking through the city he meet a boy named Rab. Rab feed him and washed his clothes. After the isitendt with the lyites, Rab allowed him to be there paperboy. So Johnny had to train a horse and than he had a shelter, food, and a job.
