I was born on March 27th, 2004. Erikson's first stage of development is "Trust Vs. Mistrust." In this stage, it is important to an infant because it is learning who it can trust. The baby is learning who its mom and dad are and that it can trust them. This stage in my life was important to me because I learned who my parents are and that I can trust them. My parents would hold me and play with me. I believe that this helped me trust my parents. Photo of me and my dad before he was deployed.
  • Industry Vs. Inferiority

The Industry Vs. Inferiority is the 4th stage on Erikson's timeline. In this stage, kids are trying new things and finding what they want to do with their time. This stage is important because it is an identity-building stage. Kids in this stage are building up who they are going to be when they get older. It is important in this that kids choose good friends and are taken care of at home.

During this stage, I began to play sports, especially football. When I was 5, I had a very bad coach who just made us run the whole time, but I didn't quit and kept playing football. If I had stopped, maybe I would be a different person today.
  • Identity Vs. Role Confusion

This is the 5th stage in Erikson's Timeline. This stage is where an adolescent begins to think about who they are and question themself. This stage is a crucial stage because it is where a kid can either have a good life or they can feel like they can do anything. Kids become who they are after this stage.

I am currently in this stage right now. I just turned 18 and am now figuring out what I am doing in my life. I am finishing my 2nd year of college to become a teacher. I chose to be a teacher because when I was 13, I had a teacher who was really awesome and I wanted to be just like him.
