The CCPA act protected the personal information of the cable customer from the the cable service providers.With this act the companies had to provide a written notice of privacy practices to a customer at the time of signing up. A customer must be given access to their personal information that was collected.
I give this act a c- because in order for the customer to access their own information they had to provide a reasonable reason that the information collected on them was incorrect. -
The Future is NOW
They had scoped the privilage of communication on electronics. It was not right for it to transmit via common carrier. That is why they eliminated that requierment for them to transmit the via common carrier. Telephone calls are soppose to be private and not heard of recorded. The ECPA wants for both governement and private access for communication. I giv ethis a C becuase at the time it was a good idea but not the best planned out bill. i think that they could of done way better. -
Safety Websites
The act of 1998 looks to protect children on children websites. This is because of the business practices used on these websites that are for children.
I give this act a c because I was not able to really understand the act as much as I would of liked. -
Looking Ahead
There is proof that people are in urge for having there own privacy on the internet and in there technology on hand. It was reveled that those that don't use the interent would most likely use it if there personal information and communication was protected. I giv ethis a A because i thinl that i did get people to think adn was a good step in the right way. -
Nothig to do with Work
The 2012 legislation was to protect employees from their employers. The legislation does not only help protect employees it also protects students and applicants.The way the legislation works is that it prevents employers from requesting passwords or usernames to personal Internet accounts like emails, banking and social networking sites.
I give this legislation A + because it is going to help people and do something to real protect the pricey of people. -

They have agreed to not track technology in the websites that is mostly used, This makes it easier for users to control the tracking. Advertising as well agreed not to give out browsing data to companies who can use it for advertising. People have the right to secure and responsible for the data they are handling. As well as to understand the privacy and security practices. I give this a B becuae i think that there is more to be done. However there is much more to be done. -

This would allow minors to be in control of obtaining, requesting, and removing information posted on the internet website. It will not allowed market to sell any items based on the information of that person. As to libraries it protects uses records. About any book that has been read, bought, sold or looked at it keeps its information private. Protects readers about web pages that has been visited. As well as to any popular website that has been visited or used.
