Importance of I.T./Design- Elearning has made a huge impact on knowledge acquisition in the last 20 years. Students have been able to take classes they never could in their "home" school and broaden their knowledge base.
How does it influence the future? According to Martin Weller, there was a shift in costs from maintaining brick and mortar buildings to presentation costs and updating technology. I am not sure if this is the case now and there is an infinite amount of classes available. -

How does it influence the future? Many students who might not be able to go to school due to a lack of funds for a textbook, can now do it without worrying that they might fail a class because they could not access a textbook.
