    Foreshadowing Conversation
I was visiting with my Uncle who, at the time, was a paraprofessional in a high school SDC class. Knowing I was working towards a career in education, he told me to look into teaching in the Special Education field. The teacher he worked under possessed many similar personal qualities that he always found in me.

    Plumfield Academy and Traveling Europe

Burned out from job and was not sure if working in the educational field was what I wanted to do anymore. I traveled around Europe for a handful of months and, at the end, decided I wanted to return and get a job back in a school setting.

    Graduation from UCSC
With graduation approaching, I reached out to a non public school in my hometown. They specialized in teaching individuals with Emotional Disturbance and Behavioral issues. I was stressed about finishing college without a job lined up, and this opening seemed to be a good fit in regards to bridging the gap between college and a credential program.

anomalies, abnormalities of brain development, substance
abuse, maternal infections, and other pregnancy
    problems.
