Straton allows snowboards on lifts

Gold Medals and Uniforms
THe 2006 Winter Olympics are held in Italy. Burton sponsored riders, Shaun White and Hannah Teeter win gold medals. Jake Burton designs the olympic outfits for the snowboarding team.

Cancer Free
Jake Burton is diagnosed with testicular cancer inApril of 2011. He makes an announcement that he is cancer free on January 19, 2912. -
Hall of Fame
Jake and Donna Burton become the first snowboarders to be inducted into the Vermont Ski and SNowboard Museaum Hall of Fame. Jake had already been inducted into the Colorado ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
