Trojan War Summary
The prince of Troy kidnapped Helen. she was the wife of Menelaus and the most beautiful woman in world. Menelaus wanted his wife back so he started a war to get his wife back.the spratians (Trojan) and Greece (Menelaus side) went to war and the Trojan war was made.One day the Greece got smart and they created a horse that the Trojans thought was a gift and the Greece got out and defeated all the Trojan warriors. -

Trojan War Analysis
In the Trojan war one of the heroes named Odysseus is a hero who defeats monsters, from the Trojan war he gained fleet of 12 ships carrying about 720 men. The Trojan war was a very pointless war and Helen was the indirect point reason for the Trojan war. The horse for the Trojan war is the representation for it. -

Lotus Eaters Summary
The Lotus Eaters are people who eat a flower on the coastline and when people ate them it made them lose hope to go home. People who were Lotus Eaters never returned home and never had the will to return home. They never even had a will to hurt or harm people. They just offered Lotus Flowers to other people and went on about life. -

Cyclopes Summary
Do to what Odysseus did he didn’t kill the Cyclopes because he knew that his and his man could get out the cabe without the help of the Cyclops. The Cyclops got mad and killed more of the men and never found out where the ship was. Odysseus got a curse put on him and his man that he would have a ling bad journey home and have no men left we he finally got home. Do to this Odysseus journey home got worse and nothing was the same. -

Cyclopes Analysis
The cyclopes didn't know who shot him the eye but Odysseus got cocky and told them that he shot him in the eye.And for that the cyclopes but a curse on him and his crew. This shows that Odysseus wanted to be know but, he didn't think about his recklessness behavior and how it could hurt him in the long run. -

Aeolus-Bag of Wind
Aeolus gave Odysseus two gifts the a fair west wind blow to move the ship to Ithaca and an unfavorable stormy bag of winds. The men of Odysseus open it thinking that its gold and sliver when it was winds and it took the whole ship back to Aeolus island. The think thinks the gods cursed them so thy don’t help Odysseus and his men again.
In all and all Odysseus and his men landed on the island of the Laestrygones. With only 45 men on Odysseus ship they land on the home of Circes island. -

Circe Summary/Analysis
Circe liked Odysseus and he wasn’t eating and he told her if her men were back he would be happy. And she gave him his men back. Odysseus and his men weren’t expecting what Circe did to them. Odysseus learned that his actions were foolish and that Circe had a spot for him in her heart. He know that he needed to get him men back and when he got them back they were one Circe island for a while. But, Circe told him on his way home that it was going to be a monster that was going to kill 6 men -

Scylla and the Charybdis Summary
Scylla is a twelve legged and six headed huge monster. Odysseus and his men would have to pass by Scylla to get to Helios island. The men were told to not eat the cattel pf Helios. In order to get passed the monster Odysseus has to give up six men. Circe told Odysseus this because she cares for him and also she wanted to help him home. -

Helios Cattle
Odysseus and his men where told when to Helios land don’t eat any of his cattle. Odysseus had just lost fought off Scylla and lost his six best men. His men where hungry and tired and his men ate the cattle. Do to this the god Zeus came down and struck all the men down with lighting who ate Helios Cattle.
Do to this like the curse Odysseus sailed home by himself. All hundreds of his men got killed because of the curse by Cyclops. It took his 20 years to get hime and everyone thought he died. -

Suitors/ Home Summary
Odysseus has just got home and everyone thinks he is died and he is no longer the greatest hero of his land. After 20 years Odysseus wife is done graving and his ready for a new husband. She has many suitors come to her house and they have to bend and string and send a arrow through iron axe-helve sockets ,twelve in line. He who does this wins Odysseus wife hand in marriage. Nobody, but Odysseus son and Eumarus knows that Odysseus is alive. Also Odysseus dresses as a old beggar. -

Suitors/Home Analysis
Odysseus isn't happy that people are fighting for his wife's had in marriage. He then dresses as an old beggar and he d passes the challenge. After that we wants to kill all the suitors and says that they aren’t worth of their titles. Odysseus is going to make his clam back of his title and his wife. He then kills all of the suitors and a goddess named Athens comes to help his because he has earned it in the fight. -

Lotus Eaters Analysis
In the Odyssey Odysseus and his man come up to the land and see the Lotus Eaters. He sent to men to see what men made up the land they stopped and just as kind as the Lotus Eaters they gave them some flowers and the men turned to Lotus Eaters. He seen that to made people lose hope to go home so in the kindness of his heart he left with the rest of his men and had no one eat the Lotus Flowers. Odysseus wanted the rest of him men to return home with him so he took his ships far away from there. -

Cyclopes Summary
Cyclopes are giant one eyed monsters who in Odysseus eyes have no right or reason to live. But they have a island and they only follow the god Zeus. They are strong powerful monsters and Odysseus really wants to see and talk to one and see if they are really worthless. Odysseus takes some men to see the Cyclopes and some stay in the ship. The men go into the Cyclops cave and it eats some of Odysseus solider. Odysseus being the reckless men he is he shots the monster in its one eye. -

Circe Summary
Circe is a wick and turns people yo animals that serve her. Odysseus and his men found the hall of Circe and she has animals but, they didn’t attack Odysseus and his men. Of the men Eurylochus thought that the dinner from Circe was a snare and Polites though that it was okay and Circe was nothing much but kind. There was a poison that Circe had and if you drink it turns you in an animal. Odysseus men drank it and they turned into animals. Odysseus drank it and didn’t change him at all. -

Just when Odysseus got his men back from Circe that got taken away. When Odysseus went on his journey and Scylla took six of his best men. After this they landed on Helios cattle graze and ate the cattle. -

Sirens
Sirens are bird like creatures that sing. They use there voices and singing to get ships to shipwreck and people who die rot. On the ship Odysseus told the men to plug their ears with beeswax kneaded soft. But, those we wanted to listen must be tied up and you may listen but not go with them.
And with all this happening the plan was to fight off Scylla. The men still not knowing that some will die. Odysseus used the ship and his bow to get passed the mountains that the Sirens wouldn’t pass.
