Signing the Declaration of Independence
56 People singed the declaration Of Independence. It was singed on july 4 but some people say it was on Aug 2. This document is importa in our history. It is importan because after the war with Britan it made the 13 colinies independent. It also importan because it is what gave us our freedom. -
Signing Of The U.S Constitution
It was September 17 1787 when the declaration was singned. It had seven diffrent articles . The first three were about the three branches of goverment. The exicutive branch the legislative branch and the judical. The other ones, four, five and six are about the fedral goverment. New things on the the constitution have been add those are the Bill of Rights, there are 27 of them. -
The Homestead Act
The homestaed act was very importan to America. It gave many people a new opertunity to go out west and start a new life. the goverment would give people land who sighned up and then they would move out west and build houses. These houses would be made out of sod and mod. Ths happend in 1862 when Licoln sighned it to become a law. -
The Gettysburg Address
This was a very importan speech gave by Abraham Lincoln. It was during the war and he was a guest speaker at the soldiers national cemetary. It also helped motivae people to continue on with the war. -
Appomattox Court House, Virginia
This locatoin is were Rober e Lee was forced to surrender. It is very importan to American history because it basicly ended the war. It is also importan because the Union was tracking him for a week. -
Cowboys
The cowboys were a big part of the west. They huntted buffalo and stole things. They were importan to what the west was though. The buffalo would be sold and shipped to citties and because of the cowboys many new things were invented. The branders were invented to mark cattle from getting stolen. Also the barb wire to mark of property. -
Chinese immigrants
Chinses immigrants were many of the people who came to ellise island but they had it harder. They were banned from coming to America. In 1882 they were not welcome for 10 years. The chinse were importan though theywould take any jobs such as building sky scrapers. MAny people did not like them though because they would take other peoples jobs. People would through rocks and other things upon entering America. -
Stock Market Crash
The stock market crash was the cause of the great depresion. It was importan because it ruined the econmy and it was the start of the great depresion, and was what caused people to loose their money and their homes. It was caused because to many people were selling shares in one day. 16 billion shares were sold. -

I Have A Dream Speech
The I have a dream speech was on Aug 28 1963 by Martin Luther King. This speech was so importan because it started to get people talking about civil rights. The speech brought 250,000 people on the steps of the Lincon Memorial. In the speech he wanted to stop raceism in America. -
Civil Rights Act
The Civil Rights act was what outlawed discrimimation. This was importan because it outawed people being based of of their race or gender. It was importan because it gave everbody equal rights. It gave rights to African Americans Women and gave the rights. This was the start of equal rights. -
My Birthday
I was born on in Philidelpha, PA on Feb 27. I lived in Philidelpha for a while then I moved to Denver. I went to a school near by named Brecknock Elenmentary. After that I went to Garden spot Middle school in New Holland. I am now an 8th grader at Garden Spot. I have started a new school year at garden spot and next year I will be going to GSHS.
