Nasuada tasks Roran with capturing the city of Aroughs which he eventually does. -

The Varden march on Dras Leona were Eragon Arya and a few others quest underneath it and open the gaters from the inside after destroying the church of Helgrind. Eragon and Saphira fight Thorn and Murtagh and win. Later Thorn and Murtagh capture Nasuada and bring her to the capital to be tortured.Eragon than becomes leader of the Varden. -

Eragon ventures to the island of Vroengard to search for a secret thatcould help win the war. He eventually discovers a store of eldunari and dragon eggs which gives hope of winning the war. He and Saphira also learn their true names.When they return to the Varden they are finally ready to seige Ure, Baen the capital and win the war. During the fight Roran defeats Lord Barsts and Saphira and Eragon best king Galbatorix. With the king dead it is up to Nasuada to rule the land. -

This is a running total run up of 830 pages. In these last few pages Eragon travels te land and resolves minor conflicts. He finally decids that he will have to leave Algaesia to find new lands to train the new race of riders. so he sets sail and leaves with the Eldunari and dragon eggs on a new adventure.
