    Emotional- May be able to play the peek-a-boo game
    Cognitive-Recognizes and responds to own name
    Social- Enjoys playing with children

    Physical- Crawls awkwardly, combining movements on tummy and knees
    Emotional-Shows desire for social contact
    Cognitive- Likes to empty and fill containers
    Social- Exhibits fear of strangers

    Emotional- May show fear of heights
    Cognitive-Likes to look for contents in a container
    Social- Performs for others, repeats act if applauded

    Emotional- Cries less often
    Cognitive- Speaks first recognizable word
    Social- Fears strange places

    Physical- Is able to stand and pick up objects
    Emotional- Tests caregivers to determine limits
    Cognitive- Can point to body parts
    Social- May not always want to be cooperative
